We love the ability to access some of the regions best products and this week was no different. Rocky from Rehberger Farms dropped in some amazing Organic Kensington Pride Mangoes.

Seriously folks, they’re more than just taste!! The aroma is divine, the taste is even better and the flesh is so silken smooth.

So, we set a kitchen challenge. Chef Mitch quickly set off making a Gluten Free Mango & Macadamia Cheesecake. Whilst that was setting, started with a Mango Salsa to accompany some local Endeavour Prawns as part of a lunchtime salad special. And to keep breakfast included, some Mango topped fluffy GF pancakes & vanilla Ice cream.

The bar team couldnt be beaten either with a magical Mango Daquiri. Mmmmm…….. vodka, bacardi, fresh mango, local limes and a splash of coconut cream.

For us, working with seasonal is more than just increased flavour, but your food has less travel miles, the amazing condition is arrives to us gives us a much more manageable time to sell it and you are genuinely looking in the farmers eyes and saying thank you.
